Resilience in times of change

At a time of unprecedented change, the creativity and ideas of our frontline teams are more vital than ever and their ability to adapt is crucial to our collective recovery.

This small group workshop explores the intrinsic relationship between resilience at individual, team and organisational levels.

What does resilience mean to you when grounded in your own experience?

What does it look like during times like these when our regular resilience strategies, and the resources we have access to, might be radically different?

This interactive 90-minute session - with 30 min optional Q&A - will help you reflect on your own ‘what works’ and consider this in relation to your wider team. You'll gain practical strategies and benefit from the opportunity to share ideas with colleagues from a range of organisations.

Online Facilitation for Managers

Guiding teams through a process of change requires skilful facilitation that enables people to move forward with clarity and confidence. An added complexity for those managing teams in todays’ crisis is that this process must take place digitally. This presents challenges for the facilitator, but it also creates an opportunity for your team to communicate and collaborate differently.

At The Lens, we understand the difference it makes having an engaged and receptive team so we have created a place where you can practice these skills to deliver real results. Our session has been designed to be highly practical giving you the skills and confidence to facilitate online.

This 90 minute workshop will enanble you to:

  • Practice new digital facilitation techniques that will help your delivery be more impactful
  • Reflect on your own delivery style and how to harness both verbal and non-verbal communication for maximum impact
  • Access free downloadable resources you can use with your team and organisation

Expect to move beyond ‘just talking’ online by learning about techniques and the basic tools available within commonly used programmes.

Sessions will run on:

  • Thursday 18th June 2020, 10am

Ideas to Action

Adapting how we do business and diversifying or digitising our services can feel overwhelming but by following a structured process it is possible to meet this challenge not only quickly, but also smartly.

These three 90 min workshops offer a uniquely practical route for those who need to:

  • Scope out the value of their idea.
  • Prototype a model that considers the people, pathways and resources you need.
  • Implement this at pace.

By the end of these three workshops you will have:

  • Clearly defined the value proposition for your idea.
  • Challenged your assumptions and validated your thinking to make sure the action you take is considered and confident.
  • Gathered valuable feedback from a peer group from a range of backgrounds.
  • The basis of a prototype to test in the real world.

The sessions take place on three dates to allow for development in between

  • Session 1: Scoping an idea to maximum value
  • Session 2: Rapid Prototyping
  • Session 3: Implementation at Pace

We've now run these sessions with a number of organisations and are looking at potential future dates.
